Related and Unrelated Personal Information:
Make Space is a local, female-owned business dedicated to the art of organization. Each project is approached as a unique opportunity to balance function and form.
My name is Ashton. I’m from Idaho, and I have done a lot of different things for work. Each position helped shape me. I am beyond thankful for every experience so far. I’ve been a developmental therapist and learned to help others grow. I was an emergency caregiver for children in the local foster system and became my own kind of mom. I also spent some time studying Agriculture Business at Treasure Valley Community College and was wicked blessed to be given an internship at Earthly Delights Farm in Boise. Then, I spent time in a local kitchen learning to prepare the food that I already loved to grow.
In each position, I found myself rearranging back-stock and storage areas that could be more efficient. I was sorting veggie seeds into hot and cold crops and then alphabetizing each pile. I was straightening up anything I was allowed to… and some things I wasn’t. Nothing major! Just business cards on display… or magazines on display… pretty much anything on display is fair game. I fold a lot of clothes when I go shopping. And I have always been that way. Being in a neat space calms my mind. So I like to make things neat.
Giving every item a home and helping people feel calm in their surroundings fills my heart to the brim. Seeing their excitement when the project is done, feeds my soul. I feel an immense amount of joy even before starting a project — and every second along the way — just knowing how much the client will love it when we’re through. I’m stoked for you already.
